Maniflon/SD-PTFE

Application:

This universal and food-grade chemical hose is ideal for handling pharmaceuticals and aggressive chemicals in potentially explosive high-risk environments (e.g. ATEX areas). The tube is specially developed to dissipate static energy both on the surface and through the hose wall: electrical resistance through the hose wall: R<10⁹ Ω.

To dissipate any electrostatic charges, the hose should be grounded with the installation.

Construction:

Maniflon/SD-PTFE is made of PTFE on the inside and EPDM on the outside. Electrically conductive not only on the surface but also through the wall of the hose.

• Tube: Black, antistatic (R<10⁶ Ω), PTFE liner.
• Reinforcement: Synthetic textile plies and inserted steel spiral. Built-in 2 copper wires.
• Cover: Synthetic rubber in black with smooth surface. Antistatic up to R<10⁶ Ω, as well as ozone, abrasion and weather resistant.

Temperature:

Resistant to steam up to +150°C for a maximum of 30 minutes.

Safety factor:

≥ 4 times working pressure.

Pressure:

All pressures are stated at the temperature +20°C.

Standards:

EC 1935/2004, 2023/2006/EC (GMP), FDA Standards, EU 10/2011, ISO 10993, USP Class VI and EN 12115:2011. The material is free from animal derivatives, phthalates and adipates. Materials are subject to restrictions according to EC 1907/2006 (REACH). Batch number for full traceability. 

ATEX approved (INERIS-16-AM-344) for zones 0, 1, 2, 20, 21 and 22.
