PUR 401 Food

Application:

Polyurethane hose suitable for transporting food and pharmaceuticals such as liquids, granulates, powders, beverages, wine, vinegar, and spirits with max. 20% alcohol. Also suitable for compressed air and pneumatic installations and comes in dimensions suitable for push-in fittings.

Construction:

PUR 401 Food is a flexible hose made of premium ether-based polyurethan. Transparent, so that circulation of the medium is clearly visible, and smooth both inside and out, which reduces the pressure loss on the hose. PUR 401 Food is resistant to fats and chemicals under normal conditions of use.

• Ozone, wear, and weather resistant

Temperature:

The temperature ranges from -40°C to +90°C. Briefly up to +125°C.

Pressure:

All pressures are stated at the temperature +20°C.

EU Regulation 10/2011, GMP 2023/2006 EC and FDA-approved (Title 21 CFR 177.2600).

Safety factor:

Safety factor: ≥ 3 times working pressure.
