The El-traced hose is designed to transport media that needs to be kept at a constant temperature during production. The heating hoses are ideal for media such as chocolate, honey, oil, fat and wax that require heating to maintain their liquid state. The hose can be heated up to 250°C and is equipped with a washable jacket and FDA-approved components, making it suitable for production in the food industry. 
El-traced hoses are also used as glue hoses in production where the glue needs to be kept warm when packing cardboard boxes, for example.

The Double-jacket hose consists of an inner and an outer hose. The inner hose transports the product safely and efficiently, while the outer layer can be used to cool or heat the medium during transportation. This type of hose is ideal for processes where precise temperature control is important, for example when transporting chemicals that require stability and quality. The use of double jacketed hoses ensures proper handling of even the most sensitive materials.

Water or steam is typically used to maintain the temperature of the media in the hose.

A Grounded hose is typically used in environments where there is a risk of static electricity. By being grounded, the hose can prevent the build-up of static electricity, making it ideal for applications where flammable or explosive materials are handled, such as in chemical plants, powder production or when transporting flammable liquids. This specialty hose serves as an important safety measure in industries - and we can ground most of our hose types to ensure discharge of any static electricity.

When choosing a specialty hose, there are several factors to consider to ensure you get the right solution for your application.

Pressure/vacuum: Make sure that the hose can withstand the required working pressure so that it is not damaged or fails during use. If you have suction (vacuum) in the hose, make sure that the hose can withstand negative pressure. This is achieved by a built-in steel spiral.

Temperature: Check that the hose can handle the temperatures required by the media, both in storage and transportation.

Approvals: Choose a hose that meets current legislation and industry standards, especially if you work with food or hazardous substances. 

El-traced or Double-jacketed: El-traced installations are usually easy to install at specific sites. Double-capped systems are ideal if you already use water for temperature control of your piping systems.
